Master Hair Stylist
Alea is a full-time hairstylist who strives to meet the goal of helping each client realize how truly beautiful they really are by giving individuals a couture style unique to their needs. Her absolute favorite thing about doing hair is making people smile.
Alea was licensed from the Kent Roosevelt school of cosmetology in 2000. Alea is formally from The Scissor Room, where she has worked since the inception in 2009. As Education Director for both salons, Alea sets up education opportunities to help junior stylist grow and hone their skills. Alea has numerous certifications including Great Length apps, Paul Mitchell senior associate and national color educator (2002-2012) where she specialized in training hairdressers all over the country in the latest techniques in hair cutting and coloring. She has had the opportunity to headline many large hair shows and has worked next to some of the greatest visionaries in the industry. In addition to earning these accolades, Alea has attained master certifications in hair coloring, hair cutting, bridal hair, business building, and motivational speaking.
Alea really loves to travel because she is often inspired by new surroundings. Some of her favorite places she has visited are Savannah, Georgia because of its classic charm and elegance, Siesta Key, Florida because of its tranquil white quartz sand beaches, and Jamaica because of the people who live there and their zest for life. Alea is a bit of a “foodie” She enjoys everything about it. “If you love people, cook them tasty food.” Alea also loves the outdoors. She feels that nature is a way to heal the soul. Lastly, Alea loves to teach. Giving other stylist tools to help them succeed and believe in themselves is key to an ever growing beauty industry.
